Spring Forward

Coming off the heels of Kimmel’s awesome Oscar show, featuring Handsome Men’s Club (below) and Robert Downey Jr., we’re going straight into preparing for May sweeps and NBA prime time shows.

We are also very excited to move forward with more episodes of The Marriage Ref taping in April. Be sure to check out last night’s hilarious episode featuring Alec Baldwin, Kelly Ripa and Jerry Seinfeld below. And next week will be rocker Sheryl Crow, the hilarious Kirstie Alley, and funny man Jimmy Fallon at 10pm EST only on NBC, and stay tuned for more great shows coming your way.

The Bonnie Hunt show has had some great guests the past few months including Mark Ruffalo, Olympic Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek, Serena Williams in February after her win at the Australian Open, and the always hilarious Tracy Morgan.

We've had a great time over at The Wanda Sykes Show. A few weeks ago, Kellie had a fun hanging out with Lisa Kudrow backstage, and this past weekend some great guests stopped by. Watch this Saturday at 11pm EST on FOX as George Lopez, Craig Robinson and Annabelle Gurwitch stop by to chat with Wanda!

We're really excited about our two newest clients: The Daily Line and Young Hollywood.com!

The Daily Line is a great new daily sports show debuting April 5 at 6pm on Versus. Jo, Celia and Jennifer just visited the new studio on 36th Street to meet the team and hosts - sports personality Liam McHugh, Playboy and Maxim model Jenn Sterger, comedian Reese Waters and oddsmaker and statistics guru Rob DeAngelis. They’re a fun bunch and we’re looking forward to working with them on this new show! Most of all, we're excited to work with one of our favorite producers, Jay Peterson! Check out the great promo below.

We are also gearing up for the launch of YoungHollywood.com in April! This great new client has their very own studio in the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, which will be the first and only media outlet on site. Young Hollywood is the perfect place to get a more intimate look at celebrity life – as told by the celebrities themselves! Avoiding gossip, Young Hollywood focuses on the fun part of being a celebrity. See below for an exclusive video with Carrie Underwood following her as she geared up to sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIV.

Finally, we are so excited about Oprah Magazine’s 10th Anniversary edition! This issue will celebrate all aspects of the past 10 years as well as look forward to the future. CTB has been hard at work with everyone over at O to make this a great issue. Make sure to look for the issue when it hit stands!

The Marriage Ref Won Its Time Slot!

American Idol lifted Fox to the overall win Thursday for adults 18-49, but The Office & The Marriage Ref topped the adults 18-49 ratings from 9-11pm. Check out the full episode below, featuring Tina Fey, Eva Longoria Parker and Jerry Seinfeld!

A special one hour The Office put an adults 18-49 beatdown on the competition at 9pm, up 27% over 2/11 to a 4.7 rating. That likely gave The Marriage Ref a nice boost, as its regular timeslot premiere scored a 3.4 rating, winning the 10pm hour. Earlier in the night, Community (2.3 rating) and Parks & Recreation (2.3 rating, matching a season high) were both flat vs. their last originals on 2/11. Besides Winter Olympics weeks, it was NBC’s top 18-49 rated Thursday of the season.

At 9pm, Grey’s Anatomy was up 8% (vs. 2/18) to a 4.0 rating, likely as some Olympics viewers returned, but Private Practice may have been hurt more by Marriage Ref, it fell 4% to a 2.7 rating, it’s lowest original episode rating on a Thursday.
Free of competition from the Olympics, Survivor recovered a bit (+3%) to a 3.8 rating. CSI got a big bounce, up 16% (vs. 2/4) to a 3.7 rating. The Mentalist also seemed hurt by Marriage Ref, falling 14% (vs. 2/11) to a 3.2 rating.
